Company description

Projects drawn up by ISPH in more than 55 years of activity are characterized by an increase of quality and complexity. Complex requirements were solved by the company experts knowledge and a close interdisciplinary co-operation.

Dam, tunnel and hydroelectric power station design requires knowledge of different engineering fields, natural sciences and economic sciences. About 50% of ISPH employees are university graduates in different fields as architecture, civil engineering, hydraulic engineering, geotechnics, topography, mathematics, physics, electric power engineering, mechanical engineering, economics, etc. In 1998 company’s activity reached a peak, over 2000 employees being involved in the design of more than 40 hydroelectric developments with a total installed capacity of more than 3400 MW most of them providing the water requirements for other utilities as well.

Development of the hydro infrastructure in a friendly environment in the power field, water, environment and transportation is the primordial answer for the future. ISPH-SA is specialized in solving these problems. During its whole activity the company used its resources for providing engineering and consulting services required by complex infrastructure projects. This objective is pursued by the company and its personnel have an extensive experience in this field.
